AI Engineer

GoPlus - Ontario, CA

2023 - 2024

At GoPlus, an EdTech startup, I worked as an AI Engineer. I developed an end-to-end AIservice for generating educational materials using Generative AI, which improvedinstructors efficiency by 50%, as well as building a data-driven analytics dashboard usingmachine learning.GoPlus is a forward-thinking EdTech startup revolutionizing higher education through adaptive assessments, custom content authoring, and data-driven insights. Initially joining as an AI Engineer, my scope quickly expanded to encompass solution architecture.

• Key Achievements:

Architected and Developed a flexible AI service with integration options (FastAPI, gRPC, WebSocket) and implemented following AI-powered features to enhance the platform's adaptive learning capabilities:

- Question generation (DB compatible)

- Content generation (RAG)

- Student performance analytics (Using ML Algorithms)

Solution Architecture

Contract - London & Dubai

2022 - 2023

As a Freelance Solution Architect, I led two blockchain and AI projects for individual clients with innovative ideas seeking investor funding. I transformed their concepts into functional MVPs, including a blockchain-based sports betting platform and a blockchain-powered image-generation competition platform.

Blockchain-Based Sports Betting Platform:

Designed and developed a blockchain solution for a peer-to-peer sports betting platform. Utilizing Hardhat for testing, I developed smart contracts and a platform-native token on the Ethereum Testnet. I integrated Chainlink oracles to manage on-chain sports events, ensuring real-time data and secure, transparent transactions. Delivered a functional prototype that the client used to advance the project with their team.

Blockchain and AI-Driven Competition Platform:

Created a platform where participants purchased tickets to enter an AI-driven image generation contest. Players had limited attempts to recreate a target image using text prompts, with results scored by a convolutional autoencoder trained on the target. Built using Solidity and Ganache for blockchain transactions, and integrated image comparison algorithms using OpenCV for similarity scoring. Delivered a prototype that validated the concept and demonstrated technical feasibility.

Design Manager

Sina Robotics - Tehran, IR

2021 - 2022

Sina Robotics, founded in 2015, specializes in developing advanced medical equipment, including surgical robots and training simulators. After joining as an Industrial Designer, I was promoted to Design Manager, leading a team to enhance system usability by improving robotic arm motion, designing surgical tools and detection systems, and optimizing ergonomic features in surgeon consoles.

• Key Achievements:

Under my management, the design team solved significant issues reported by the R&D while getting the ISO-13485, IEC-80601, and other ISO/TC 299 and 150 standards, which are crucial certificates for manufacturing medical devices, and robotic systems.

- Within a year, we delivered flawless designs and prototypes on a tight schedule to the R&D team so we could close our first international deal successfully and become one of the first countries with robotic telesurgery systems.

- I supervised the manufacturing processes of the exterior parts and robotic surgical instruments, leading to an overall 10% cost saving for the whole production and a 30% decrease in fabricating expenses by choosing optimal manufacturing methods.

Animatronics Specialist

Aped Studio - Worldwide

2018 - 2021

At Aped Studio, we merge classical art values like harmony and balance with contemporary mediums such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and installations to craft non-anecdotal, emotionally neutral works that prioritize story and aesthetics over trends. As a team member, I managed technical aspects, bringing interactive sculptures to life with robotics, inspiring innovative technological solutions, and planning production for international installations.

• Key Achievements:

We successfully applied one of our installations in two international Digital and New Media Festivals, both in our home country Iran (TADAEX Festival, 2018) and another in Poland (Survival 17, 2019).

- We also collaborated with some Escape Rooms to design their installations and games with automated missions and puzzles using Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and Kinect.
